Our history is about vines and dreams, a man and his love for the land. Our wish is to forge our own way.
In 2009 Francesco decides to completely change his life, by opening a winery. Together with his wife Adriana they established Corte Canella.
In 2013 their daughter Gloria joined their dream. At the beginning she just helped her parents and nothing more, now, their dream is a part of her future too.
“ I’ve been always saying I was the daughter of a dream that wasn’t mine, it was of my dad. Now I have a treasure in my hands: a project and someone who believes in me!”
Since then we have come a long way. Now we know that we still have much to learn and to let ourselves be surprised.
“It’s not so difficult to recognize something valued. It doesn’t shine. It fills.”
The Independent Winemaker cultivates his vineyards, knows them and respects them. His wines are created with the same grapes that he cultivated with a passion and boundless love. The winemakers work constantly to safeguard, protect and promote the territory they belong to.
Our brand depicts “Ampelio”, an image of a winemaker who carries a basket of grapes on his shoulders and whose shadow takes the shape of a bottle. This figure summarizes everything that being winemakers means to us: from grapes to wine.

Francesco
He represents Corte Canella’s roots.
In love with his vineyards, he cuddles them with such love that he leaves everybody speechless. He knows the characteristics of each vineyard, so as to enhance them all to the fullest. He’s usually very quiet, but when he talks better take notes!
Adriana
She is The organizer.
She deals with the visitors, tastings and wine shop. Creating relationships and caring for people is her innate gift. Adriana is spontaneous and selfless beyond imagination. Obviously…. She loves to chat.
Gloria
The little tornado.
She is everywhere. From being the soul of social media and Francesco’s right-hand in the cellar, to operational part in the office. She is often called “ a peperino“(high-spirited person) for her strong and gritty character, she always has her hand outstretched and the answer ready.
