Vintage 2022 Soave and Valpolicella change clothes!
Well yes! You read that right… Soave and Valpolicella are changing their look in the 2022 vintage!
The choice was to connect these two wines to our roots, our grandparents.
NEW SOAVE: THE 56
Soave, in the new name IL 56, is a dedication to Giuseppe, his maternal grandfather.
We owe him the entry of Soave into our range of Valpolicella wines.
A challenge to create a Soave with the same methodology with which we make red wines.
NEW VALPOLICELLA: ASANTE
ASANTE, is the new name of Valpolcella.
But what does ASANTE mean?
It means THANK YOU in Swahili, a typical dialect of Tanzania.
Italo, paternal grandfather, was in love with those areas, to the point that he went there about 3-4 times a year as a volunteer on a mission.
He never learned English, but Swahili was his second language.
